The Akaushi or Red Wagyu breed is native to Japan. It’s characterized by having a very high genetic ability to infuse intramuscular fat in pasture or confinement in temperate or tropical climates.

Its main advantage is its genetic ability to generate intramuscular fat (marbling) over tropical climates in pastures, producing consistent marbling carcasses in Bos indicus and Taurus.
Our work and developments with the Akaushi breed have very good results in Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Brazil, mainly in crossings with Brahaman, Nelore and Brangus.
Company partner, Mario Aishemberg has given lectures on Akaushi on improving meat quality in tropical climates in countries like Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and Paraguay.
